Tatiana Dobrousin

Tatiana is a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner who is board certified in hearing instrument sciences with 8 years’ experience after graduating from Grant MacEwan University’s Hearing Aid Practitioner Program in Edmonton, Alberta. She speaks fluent English and Russian but also has basic proficiency in French and Hebrew.

Michael E. Shields

Michael E. Shields is a Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner in the Province of Alberta and is board certified in hearing instrument sciences. He is President of Accent Associates Hearing Aid Services Ltd, which has been providing hearing services to the public for 30 years.

From 2011 to 2013, he was President of the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA) and currently serves as committee member on two CHAPA committees.

In addition to his professional development courses in hearing aid dispensing, Michael received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College and completed the Enhanced Business Performance Program for Executive Development at Queen’s School of Business. He has also taken graduate courses at the University of Alberta in Health Services Administration and Educational Psychology.

Michael thinks that hearing accurately is critical for effective participation in society, from family to friend to community and business meetings. The safest way to protect this special sense of hearing is to have it tested.

Wendy King

Wendy has been our Office Manager for over 8 years. Wendy brings a wealth of experience to Accent’s focus on friendly service. She has developed and operated businesses serving the public in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. She also has, the now much required, expertise in the complex area of the compatibility of blue tooth devices with hearing aids. And more importantly, she is the go to person if you have any questions about third party funding and government grants for hearing aids.
